A couple of weeks ago I photographed a wedding in American Fork, Utah for a cool couple named Stacy and Brett. The wedding went well and when I went to process them I went with a new vintage seventies look I had recently developed that I felt fit them perfectly. Here are few of my favorites. Congrats Guys!
I recently had the opportunity to go to San Francisco to shoot a great engagement/announcement photo for a couple of good friends of my mine Joe and Kara. It was fun to be in San Francisco again it had been a few years since I had been out there. We shot one evening right above the Fisherman’s Wharf area with the city skyline in the background. We had planned on going out to the coast after that but it got really cloudy and dark fast so we had to continue the following morning, which we did. We went out on this cool rocky area with a nice strip of sand and shot there the next morning. We also found these really cool trees that we shot a few photos in. I’ve been developing a seventies kind of processing in Lightroom to use on images and tried it out on a few of these that I think turned out nice. Here are a few of my favorites.
Happy New Year! I recently shot a fun portrait on top of Snowbird for a client. They had some great connections with Snowbird and got us access to go up with the ski patrol at sunrise. I had to get up pretty early and it was quite cold but I think that it was worth it. I also got some great landscape shots that were amazing. It was a great way to start off the new year. On October 3rd last month my wife and I had our first baby daughter. It was such an amazing experience. I love being a dad. I always tell my wife how it amazes me how much you can love a little baby. All our friends that have kids were always like “oh man having a baby it so rad” and “there is nothing better” bla bla bla but they were totally right. I think it is one of those things that you just have to go through yourself to appreciate. Oh and speaking of that it gives you a much greater appreciation for your own parents and the sacrifices they had to go through for you. The whole process just really puts life into a new perspective. Anyways here are few shots for you to check to check out!
Here are few new bridal shots I wanted to share. We shot these at an industrial site here in Salt Lake and than up in Park City. Tatum looked great and we had some really nice light to work with so it all came together pretty good. Check them out!
Ok sorry I have been slacking on the posts lately I’ve just been so busy it has been hard to keep up on my posts for the blog. I wanted to quickly put up a few more recent shots from the last few engagement bridal and weddings that I’ve shot. I also just shot another wedding that I will be posting next week. I just wanted to put a few more of the engagement shots I took of Elliot and Roy recently. They wanted to shoot in the studio for a few shots and than outside in a field somewhere, which I might add is quite hard to find in the end of march in Utah. I was really happy with the way they turned out and am exited to shoot Elliot’s Bridals soon. Here they are.
I just finished shooting a few new engagement and bridal photos that I wanted to put up that I am pretty stoked about. The first one is just a preview of some shots I got from a shoot I did sat. of Elliot and Roy. We shot them at a little lake that had a bunch of really cool tall amber grass and vegetation. I love this shot, it turned out really great. There will be more images coming as soon as I can edit them, I just saw this one and liked it alot.
These next few are of mike and tatum, we shot out west of salt lake on a old dirt road that I think was nice. Mike loves cars so we shot with his little vw truck and tatum love her dog so we put them all together and this is what you get!
Last but not least I wanted to put a few of Jen’s Bridals. We shot her on the east bench and downtown. I really like how these turned out also, check um out!
